The Flying Child Book - signed copy with paper blossom

The concept of the blossom stems from the book, where it acts as a metaphor for speaking 'the unspeakable', and most of all - a hope for an improved societal response to child victims and adult survivors.

The blossoms included with the signed copies are created by survivors of child sexual abuse either during one of The Flying Child art workshops, or by children and young people as part of our 'The Blossom Tree' campaign to raise parental and caregiver awareness of child sexual abuse. The original blossom is designed by Kate Alger - The Flying Child art group and events coordinator and facilitator.

The blossom will be slightly flattened during transit, and will bloom once again with gentle reshaping and care.

Proceeeds from the sale of the signed copies will specifically fund our work in supporting survivors of child sexual abuse, through closed survivor groups and public events.
